Belbien (Hemofarm)

Belbien is a brand-name prescription medication manufactured by the Serbian pharmaceutical company Hemofarm. Its active ingredient is Zolpidem Tartrate, which is the same as the widely known drug Ambien (or Stilnox).

Key Features

• Classification: A non-benzodiazepine sedative-hypnotic, commonly referred to as a "Z-drug."

• Primary Use: Short-term treatment of insomnia, specifically designed to help people who have difficulty falling asleep.

• Onset of Action: It works very quickly, typically inducing sleep within 15–30 minutes. It must be taken immediately before getting into bed.

• Anterograde Amnesia: Users may have trouble remembering events that happened between taking the pill and falling asleep.
